A serious privacy violation has been reported at a private hospital in Murree after hidden cameras were allegedly discovered in the women’s washroom, where video footage of female visitors was reportedly recorded.
According to ARY News, women visiting the hospital for treatment and caregiving purposes were left vulnerable when secret recording devices were allegedly installed in the ladies’ washroom.
The incident came to light after a woman visiting a patient was secretly filmed two days ago.
Following a complaint from the affected family, police registered a case at Murree Police Station and launched an investigation into the matter.
Police officials have requested CCTV footage from the hospital administration and have begun efforts to trace the suspects named in the FIR. Authorities said legal action will be taken once those responsible are identified.
The victim’s family has demanded the immediate arrest of the accused and strict punishment under the law.
The incident has raised renewed concerns over repeated cases of hidden camera recordings reported in hospitals, hostels, and educational institutions across the country.
