The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has opened applications for fully funded PhD scholarships under the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Project, offering Pakistani students a chance to study at leading universities in the United States.
According to the announcement, the scholarships are available for admission to U.S. universities ranked among the top 100 in the QS World University Rankings.
Candidates selected for universities in the top 50 will receive full financial support, including tuition fee coverage, stipend, and health insurance.
Applicants admitted to institutions ranked between 51 and 100 will be provided up to $12,000 per year in tuition support along with stipend and health insurance.
The programme is aimed at improving research capacity and higher education standards in Pakistan by giving scholars access to internationally ranked academic institutions.
Applications can be submitted through the official scholarship portal , while the deadline to apply is April 30, 2026.
The scholarship scheme is part of the broader US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Project, which was launched to expand academic collaboration and create more opportunities for Pakistani researchers and students.
