The federal government has increased the price of kerosene oil by Rs8.70 per litre with effect from June 6, 2026, according to reports.

After the increase, the new price of kerosene oil has been set at Rs280.70 per litre, up from the previous rate of Rs272 per litre.

Meanwhile, in the latest fuel price adjustments, the government reduced the price of petrol by Rs4 per litre on June 5, while keeping the price of high-speed diesel unchanged.

Officials said the recent revision reflects ongoing fluctuations in international oil markets, with multiple weekly adjustments already implemented in recent weeks.

According to the latest notification, petrol is now priced at Rs376 per litre, down from Rs381.78, while high-speed diesel remains unchanged at Rs380 per litre.

The government’s repeated price revisions come amid global oil price volatility, which has led to both increases and reductions in different fuel categories.
