Government College University (GCU) has announced 3,000 seats for intermediate admissions, including 300 additional seats at its Kala Shah Kaku (KSK) campus for pre-medical, pre-engineering, and ICS students.

Admissions are open in all major groups, including pre-engineering, pre-medical, general science, computer science, commerce, and humanities at the main campus in both morning and afternoon shifts.

Director of Intermediate Studies Siddique Awan said applications will be submitted online until April 30, adding that candidates are not required to submit hard copies.

He said admissions will be based solely on 9th Class Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) results, in line with Punjab government policy, and no entrance test will be conducted.

Applicants have been advised not to submit separate forms for morning and afternoon shifts, as the university will issue separate merit lists for each.

In addition to open merit, reserved seats are available for athletes and students excelling in co-curricular fields, including public speaking, acting, singing, Rover Scouts, and Qiraat and Naat. Officials said trials for sports and co-curricular categories will begin on May 11.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr M Omer Chaudhry said the additional seats at the KSK campus will help accommodate students from nearby districts, adding that a free daily shuttle service will operate between the two campuses.
