Federal Minister for Education Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has taken notice of the alleged Cambridge examination paper leak after reports emerged that Tuesday’s AS-Level Mathematics paper was leaked before the scheduled exam time.

The development comes amid continuing concerns over the Cambridge paper leaks. The exam papers are reportedly being circulated through various social media accounts.

Cambridge International Education, a division of Cambridge University Press & Assessment, said it investigates all claims related to paper leaks but does not comment on individual cases.

Dr. Siddiqui expressed concern and regret over the situation, saying that the future of hardworking students cannot be put at risk.

He said similar incidents were reported last year as well and urged Cambridge to further strengthen its examination system. He added that the alleged paper leaks have caused serious mental stress for students and parents.

The federal education minister has directed the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) to hold an immediate meeting with Cambridge over the issue.

Dr. Siddiqui said the IBCC must take prompt steps to protect students’ interests. He stressed that there would be no compromise on a transparent examination system or merit.

He also called for a complete investigation into the Cambridge paper leak matter and said the facts must be brought forward. Restoring students’ trust, he said, remains the top priority.
