The cybersecurity team has warned citizens not to click on suspicious links received through SMS or WhatsApp. Users should also avoid sharing personal or financial information in response to such messages.
National CERT has further advised citizens not to respond to or forward the fraudulent messages. Instead, users should delete, block, and report them.
Citizens have also been urged to verify suspicious URLs before opening them through the National CERT’s Phish-Radar platform. The platform allows users to check potentially malicious or suspicious links and is available at National CERT Phish-Radar .
National CERT has urged citizens to remain vigilant against such messages and verify the authenticity of cash offers, links, and online claims before sharing any personal or financial information.
