English Football star Jude Bellingham joined a popular social media trend by commenting “nice” on a video of Pakistan mystery spinner Usman Tariq bowling.

The video was posted on Instagram by The Hundred franchise Birmingham Phoenix and showed Usman bowling in the nets during a training session.

The franchise shared the clip with a catchy caption. “IG is cool because we can post a video of training and some dude named Erling will comment ‘nice’,” the caption read.

The post referred to Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, whose habit of replying “nice” to training videos has become a widely recognized trend on the platform.

Birmingham Phoenix then tagged Bellingham in the comments, writing: “Maybe someone named @judebellingham too.”

Bellingham responded with a one-word reply: “Nice.”

Bellingham’s interaction came a month after he became a minority shareholder in Birmingham Phoenix by acquiring a 1.2% stake in the franchise.

The Three Lions midfielder was also in excellent form during the recently concluded FIFA World Cup 2026. He scored seven goals as England reached the semifinals, where they lost to Argentina.

Birmingham Phoenix bought Usman for £140,000 at this year’s auction, making him the franchise’s first Pakistani player recruit.

He also plays for Warwickshire in the T20 Blast, where he took 16 wickets in 11 matches.

Usman rose to prominence because of his unorthodox bowling action and has played nine T20 Internationals for Pakistan.

The 30-year-old has taken 18 wickets in his short international career, including a hat-trick.
