Private airline South Air is set to begin regular flight operations to and from Gwadar from July 9, 2026, opening new links with Karachi and Quetta.
According to the flight schedule shared by the airline, South Air will operate services on Thursdays and Saturdays.
On Thursdays, the airline will run a direct Karachi-Gwadar-Karachi service. The flight will depart Karachi at 4:40 PM and arrive in Gwadar at 6:10 PM. The return flight will leave Gwadar at 6:40 PM and land in Karachi at 8:10 PM.
On Saturdays, South Air will operate a broader rotation connecting Karachi, Gwadar, and Quetta. The flight will depart Karachi at 7:00 AM and reach Gwadar at 8:30 AM.

It will then leave Gwadar at 9:00 AM for Quetta, arriving at 10:40 AM. The return leg will depart Quetta at 11:10 AM, land in Gwadar at 1:10 PM, and then continue to Karachi at 1:40 PM, reaching there at 3:10 PM.
The launch will give Gwadar fresh air links with two major cities and adds to the slow but steady expansion of domestic connectivity to the coastal city.
