The Tourism Development Cooperation of Punjab (TDCP) has set a four-month deadline to complete the modernization of the Kashmir Point Adventure Track in Murree.
TDCP Managing Director Asim Raza announced the target during his visit to the Kashmir Point Hiking Track, where he reviewed ongoing development schemes.
Asim Raza said that, under the instructions of the Punjab chief minister Maryam Nawaz, Murree is being developed into a tourist city of international standard.
He added that work on modern tourism projects is progressing rapidly without affecting the area’s natural beauty.
He directed officials to develop the Kashmir Point Adventure Track in a modern and attractive manner while preserving the natural environment.
Asim Raza said the track will include recreational features for the convenience and enjoyment of tourists. The project will feature gazebos, decks, sculptures, tucked-away shops, suspension bridges, climbing walls, and other recreational activity elements.
He said tourists visiting Murree will be able to fully enjoy the new adventure track, as the area previously had no regular track built to modern standards.
