Asus has introduced the V700 Mini Tower (V701ML) at Computex 2026, bringing a more home-focused design to the traditional desktop PC format. The system uses clean lines, soft contours, and a wood-grain finish, making it suitable for living rooms, home offices, study areas, and shared workspaces.
The desktop is designed for users who want a PC that can stay visible instead of being hidden under a desk. Its furniture-inspired look gives it a warmer appearance than most standard tower PCs.
The V700 Mini Tower uses rounded edges, wood grain finishes, and a minimal body design. It also has a discreet hidden air inlet to keep the exterior clean while maintaining airflow.
The design follows a wider consumer electronics trend where devices such as speakers, routers, and consoles are built to blend into home interiors rather than look like office hardware.
The V700 Mini Tower can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor. Other configuration options include Core Ultra 7 255HX, Core Ultra 7 251HX, and Core Ultra 5 235HX processors.
The top chip includes 24 cores, 24 threads, and boost speeds of up to 5.4GHz. The system also includes Intel AI Boost NPU support with up to 13 TOPS of AI performance.
Asus lists support for up to 64GB of DDR5 memory at 5600 MT/s. Storage can go up to 6TB in total, including up to two 2TB M.2 SSDs and one 2TB 3.5-inch HDD.
The V700 Mini Tower supports dedicated Nvidia graphics. The official Asus page lists up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 graphics for the system.
Expansion options include a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, dual M.2 storage slots, and three SATA ports. The system is built to handle everyday computing, entertainment, creative work, and lighter gaming workloads.
Connectivity options include four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI 2.1b, DisplayPort 1.4, Gigabit Ethernet and multiple audio connections.
Wireless connectivity includes Wi Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. The desktop runs Windows 11 Home, while Asus recommends Windows 11 Pro for business use.
Asus has equipped the V700 Mini Tower with an advanced cooling system designed to support up to 95W CPU power while keeping noise low. The system operates at 33dB in Performance Mode under tested conditions.
The cooling setup uses triple-channel heat pipes and a larger fan to manage heat during productivity, entertainment, and creative tasks.
Asus has not announced pricing, release dates, or market availability for the V700 Mini Tower yet.
More details are expected closer to launch in individual regions.
