Karachi police are investigating claims that Anmol alias Pinky’s alleged drug network used popular snack packets to smuggle and deliver cocaine across the city.

Anmol Pinky was arrested earlier this month from her Garden apartment in a joint raid carried out by police and a civilian intelligence agency. The case involves alleged possession of narcotics and an unlicensed weapon.

Despite her arrest, reports suggest the suspected network may still be active and has been using new methods to avoid detection.

According to investigation details, cocaine was allegedly hidden inside packets of well-known snacks, including chips and papad, before being sent to customers.

Sources said the concealed packets were allegedly delivered to homes, bungalows, and restaurants in different parts of Karachi.

In one reported exchange, a supplier allegedly told a customer that a rider would deliver several packets of chips, adding that one of them would contain a separate packet of cocaine.

Investigators also believe people linked to the alleged network continued to share fresh account numbers for payments. These reportedly included digital payment options and one-time-use accounts sent directly to buyers.

The case has drawn further attention as authorities examine how the alleged network handled deliveries, payments, and concealment of drugs even after Pinky’s arrest.

Police are continuing their investigation into the matter and the wider network allegedly operating behind the supply chain.
