اختيارين موجب ڪيمرا شهر جي نو پارڪنگ زونن تي لڳايا ويندا ۽ ٽريفڪ ضابطن جي ڀڃڪڙي ڪندڙ گاڏين جي نشاندهي ڪئي ويندي. The information will be transmitted directly to the Traffic Regulation and Citation System (TRACS) used by the Karachi Traffic Police.
Director General Sarfaraz Nawaz said vehicle owners found violating no-parking regulations will receive electronic challans through the TRACS system without requiring physical interaction with traffic officers.
He said the initiative is part of the Karachi Safe City Project, under which the Sindh Safe Cities Authority has already established a citywide surveillance network comprising more than 1300 AI based cameras installed at various locations.
The authority said the new smart no parking cameras will further expand the surveillance network and enable the Karachi Traffic Police to issue real time, faceless e-challans against vehicles parked in prohibited areas.
