Pehel is operated by its founders as an independent publication.

Pehel is privately owned by its founders. It is not owned by, affiliated with, or controlled by any political party, government body, or religious organisation.

3. Funding

Pehel's current operating costs — infrastructure, licensing, AI compute, translation, and editorial oversight — are funded by the founders. We may introduce reader-supported revenue (display advertising, memberships, or sponsorships) in the future; any such revenue will be clearly disclosed and will not influence editorial decisions.

4. Editorial independence

No advertiser, sponsor, investor, or external party has any authority over which stories are sourced, how they are summarised, or when they are published. Our Editorial Standards describe the decision rules the editorial team uses.

5. Conflicts of interest

If Pehel runs a summary about a company, product, or person with a commercial or personal relationship to the founders or staff, that relationship will be disclosed in a note on the article.
