The Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) has unveiled two new long-range loitering munitions, the D-248 and S-369, during the 2026 Indus Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) Expo. The newly introduced systems are now Pakistan’s largest and longest-range loitering munitions. According to HIT, the D-248 has an operational range of 2,200 to 3,000 kilometers, while the S-369 can strike targets between 1,500 and 2,000 kilometers away.

The Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) has unveiled two new long-range loitering munitions, the D-248 and S-369, during the 2026 Indus Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) Expo.

The newly introduced systems are now Pakistan’s largest and longest-range loitering munitions. According to HIT, the D-248 has an operational range of 2,200 to 3,000 kilometers, while the S-369 can strike targets between 1,500 and 2,000 kilometers away.

The D-248 features a tailless delta-wing design and has a maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of 240 kilograms. It offers a payload capacity of 30 to 50 kilograms, a wingspan of 3.3 meters, a maximum speed of 225 km/h, and a cruising speed of 185 km/h.

HIT says the system can remain airborne for 12 to 14 hours and operate at altitudes of up to 4,500 meters.

Meanwhile, the S-369 adopts an arrow-delta wing configuration and has an MTOW of 215 to 225 kilograms. It features a 4-meter wingspan, a 30 to 50-kilogram payload, a maximum speed of 220 km/h, and a cruising speed of 160 to 180 km/h.

Like the D-248, it is capable of flying at altitudes of up to 4,500 meters.
