Oppo has introduced two new tablets, the Pad 5 Pro and Pad Mini, expanding its premium Android tablet lineup in China. Both devices feature Snapdragon 8 series chipsets, stylus support, 67W wired charging, and Android 16 with ColorOS 16.

The Pad 5 Pro succeeds last year’s Pad 4 Pro, which later launched internationally as the OnePlus Pad 3. A similar global rebrand may follow with the upcoming OnePlus Pad 4.

The tablet uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.

It features a 13.2-inch LCD with 3392 x 2400 resolution, a 7:5 aspect ratio, and a 30Hz to 144Hz adaptive refresh rate. Oppo says the panel reaches up to 1,000 nits peak brightness and supports Dolby Vision and HDR Vivid.

Users can pair the tablet with the optional Oppo Pencil 3 stylus and magnetic floating keyboard. Oppo is also offering an optional matte display version.

The Pad 5 Pro includes an eight-speaker system, dual microphones, a 13MP rear camera, and an 8MP front camera.

It carries a 13,380mAh battery with 67W charging, along with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.

The Pad Mini targets users looking for a smaller Android tablet. It features an 8.8-inch AMOLED display with 2520 x 1680 resolution, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and a 60Hz to 144Hz adaptive refresh rate.

The tablet has 2.99mm bezels and an 8MP front camera placed inside a punch-hole cutout. A matte display option is also available.

It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and offers up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM with up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.

The Pad Mini includes a single 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8,000mAh battery with 67W wired charging.

The Oppo Pad 5 Pro comes in Gold, Brown, and Purple colors. Pricing starts at $630 for the 8GB + 256GB model and rises to $806 for the 16GB + 512GB version.

The Oppo Pad Mini is available in Space Gray, Purple, and Green. It starts at $542 for the 8GB + 256GB model and goes up to $660 for the 12GB + 512GB variant.
