Xiaomi may be preparing its next Smart Band model for international markets. A new wearable with the model number M2561B1 has appeared in regulatory databases from Taiwan’s NCC and Singapore’s IMDA.
The listings suggest that Xiaomi could be getting closer to launching another fitness band outside China.
Both certifications list the device only as a “Smart Band” and do not confirm its official marketing name. However, the model number gives a possible clue about where it may sit in Xiaomi’s lineup.
Xiaomi previously used the model numbers M2551B1 and M2553B1 for the standard and NFC versions of the recently launched Smart Band 10 Pro. Because of this, the newly listed M2561B1 is expected to belong to the upcoming Smart Band 11 family.
Early speculation suggests the device could launch as the Smart Band 11 Active, although the certification documents do not confirm that name.
The timing is notable because Xiaomi recently introduced the Smart Band 10 Pro in China. That model brought upgrades, including a 1.74-inch curved AMOLED display, updated health sensors, and improved fitness tracking features.
The previous Smart Band 9 Pro also remains one of Xiaomi’s more popular budget fitness trackers in several global markets.
Xiaomi’s Smart Band lineup is known for offering practical health and fitness features at relatively affordable prices. Heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, long battery life, and multiple workout modes have become standard features across the series.
The new certification listings do not reveal any hardware specifications yet. However, they suggest Xiaomi is preparing another wearable launch outside China.
If the device is part of the Smart Band 11 series, it may bring further improvements to tracking accuracy, software features, and battery optimization.
