The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) has introduced modern camera equipped patrol vehicles to strengthen highway monitoring and improve transparency in policing services.
According to the NHMP, the newly deployed patrol vehicles are fitted with advanced camera systems that will enable more effective surveillance and enhance the delivery of transparent services to motorists.
Officials said the cameras will support 24 hour monitoring of patrol activities, promote accountability and transparency, help curb unlawful and unprofessional conduct, and facilitate the effective investigation of complaints against police personnel.
The NHMP said the initiative is aimed at improving public service standards and ensuring greater oversight of patrol operations on national highways and motorways.
