The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced that the Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) for its overseas MS, MPhil, and PhD scholarship applicants will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
The commission shared the updated test schedule through a corrigendum to its overseas scholarship advertisement dated August 9, 2026.
According to the revised details, candidates will be able to download their HAT roll number slips from September 17, 2026. The slips will be available through the HEC Education Testing Council website at etc.hec.gov.pk.
Applicants should download their roll number slips on time and carefully review the test venue, reporting time, and other examination instructions.
HEC has also corrected the online application portal mentioned in the original advertisement. Candidates must use the official HEC Scholarship Portal at scholarships.hec.gov.pk for their scholarship applications.
HEC clarified that all other information and conditions included in the original overseas scholarship advertisement will remain unchanged.
