The federal government has again reduced the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel by Rs. 6 per litre for the next seven days, according to official confirmation issued by the Petroleum Division.

Following the latest revision, the price of petrol has been fixed at Rs. 403.78 per litre, while high-speed diesel will now be sold at Rs. 403.58 per litre.

The new prices will take effect immediately on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

The reduction follows another cut announced last week, when the government lowered the price of diesel by Rs. 5 per litre and petrol by Rs. 5 per litre.

The latest adjustment comes amid continued fluctuations in fuel pricing and is expected to provide some relief to consumers, particularly transporters and motorists.

The Petroleum Division will later issue a notification confirming the revised rates.
