Google has launched the Pixel 11 Pro Fold with a larger cover display, its new Tensor G6 chipset, 16GB of RAM, upgraded durability and a new HiLight notification system.

For some reason, Google has chosen to launch the phone with a smaller battery than last year.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold has a 6.5-inch Super Actua OLED cover display with a 1080 × 2342 resolution, 399 PPI, and a 1-120Hz refresh rate. It reaches up to 2,000 nits in HDR and 3,600 nits of peak brightness. The internal Super Actua Flex OLED remains 8 inches, with a 2076 × 2152 resolution, 372 PPI, and the same 1-120Hz refresh rate.

The phone measures 155.2 × 76 × 10.1mm when folded and 155.2 × 150.4 × 5mm when unfolded. It weighs 239g, making it almost 10% lighter and around 1mm thinner than its predecessor. Google has also added a new gearless hinge, glass-ceramic cover protection, a composite matte back, and an aluminum frame. It retains IP68 dust and water resistance.

A new HiLight LED system sits around the camera flash and provides color-coded notifications when the phone is face-down, including alerts for selected contacts and visual feedback while using Gemini. The phone comes in Olive and Obsidian.

Google’s Tensor G6 chipset powers the Pixel 11 Pro Fold alongside the Titan M3 security coprocessor. All three storage configurations come with 16GB of RAM, while storage options include 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. The 512GB and 1TB models use Zoned UFS storage for improved performance.

The phone ships with Android 17 and will receive seven years of operating system, security and Pixel Drop updates. Its AI features include Gemini Intelligence, Gemini Nano, Gemini Live, Circle to Search, Live Translate and Call Assist.

Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, NFC, Ultra-Wideband, USB-C 3.2 and dual SIM support through one Nano-SIM and an eSIM. It also has stereo speakers and three microphones.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold has a triple rear camera system led by a 48MP main camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, f/1.7 aperture, and optical image stabilization.

It is joined by a 10.5MP ultrawide camera with autofocus, a 127-degree field of view, and a 1/3.4-inch sensor. The 10.8MP telephoto uses a 1/3.2-inch sensor, f/3.1 aperture, optical image stabilization, and 5x optical zoom. Google also provides up to 30x Super Zoom.

There are two 10MP selfie cameras, one on each display, both featuring f/2.2 apertures and 87-degree fields of view. Rear video recording reaches 4K at up to 60fps, while the front camera also supports 4K at 60fps.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold packs a 4,806 mAh battery, down from the 5,015 mAh capacity of the previous generation. Google still claims more than 24 hours of battery life.

Wired charging reaches 30W and can charge the battery to around 50% in 30 minutes with a compatible charger. The phone also supports Qi2.2 PixelSnap wireless charging at up to 25W.

The 256GB Pixel 11 Pro Fold costs $1,899, while the 512GB version is priced at $2,019. The top-end 1TB model costs $2,249.
