General Headquarters (GHQ) has announced 81 civilian vacancies in pay scales ranging from BPS-01 to BPS-05.
The latest recruitment is limited to candidates holding a local domicile of Rawalpindi or Islamabad. The vacancies include security, technical, administrative and support staff positions. The job notice was listed among GHQ recruitment advertisements published on July 27, 2026.
The required qualification ranges from primary to matric, depending on the position. Applicants for technical posts must also possess the relevant skills or experience. Security Guard candidates must meet the physical and experience conditions mentioned in the advertisement.
The age limit is generally 18 to 30 years. However, candidates applying for Fireman positions can be between 18 and 35 years old.
Only candidates with a local domicile of Rawalpindi district or Islamabad can apply for these BPS-01 to BPS-05 vacancies. Applicants from other districts or provinces will not be eligible under this particular advertisement.
Applications must be submitted online through the official GHQ recruitment portal www.amdte-rect.gov.pk
Candidates can apply for only one position. They should carefully review their CNIC, qualification, experience, domicile and contact details before submitting the form, as the application can only be edited once.
GHQ will shortlist candidates based on the information submitted in the online application.
Shortlisted applicants will be informed about the screening test or interview through SMS. Candidates working in government departments must apply through the proper channel and present a No Objection Certificate when required.
