Fresh claims have emerged in Pakistan’s ongoing Cambridge exam paper leak controversy after a Reddit user alleged that he obtained the bank account details of people involved in selling leaked papers online.
According to the Reddit post , the user said he posed as a buyer to get payment details from an individual allegedly offering leaked Cambridge exam papers for sale. The user claimed the seller shared bank information, a bank account belonging to a Mohammad Rashid, after being told that the paper would be purchased online.
The Reddit user said they obtained the details through a Discord server allegedly being used to sell leaked Cambridge papers.
The user further claimed that two individuals appeared to be central to the operation, identifying them only through online aliases, including one username said to be “Wadeera” and another allegedly operating under the name “Cambridge paper”.
While the bank account is in name of one individual, it is still unclear whether one or multiple person are linked to it.
Earlier reports had suggested that leaked papers were being sold online for around Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000 per paper, with some listings translating to roughly $110.
Since then, multiple papers have come under scrutiny, while Cambridge and Pakistani authorities have both been pressed to investigate the source of the leaks and identify those responsible.
