Asus has unveiled the ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20, a special edition gaming mouse created for the 20th anniversary of its Republic of Gamers brand. The mouse was introduced at Computex Taipei 2026 as part of the wider ROG Edition 20 lineup.
The ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 uses a semi-transparent black shell with authentic 24K gold-plated accents. The design exposes some of the internal structure and gives the mouse a collector-focused look.
The mouse also includes gold colored side buttons, a gold scroll wheel, gold accents around the feet, and a special anniversary design theme. The left-click button carries the “ROG 06 ←→ ∞” marking to highlight the brand’s 20-year milestone.
Despite the premium materials, the mouse weighs 82 grams. It also uses Corning Gorilla Glass mouse feet for smoother movement and better durability.
The ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 uses the ROG AimPoint Pro 65K optical sensor. It supports up to 65,000 DPI, 800 IPS tracking speed, 70G acceleration, adjustable lift-off distance from 0.7 mm to 2.0 mm, and Track on Glass technology.
The mouse also supports ROG SpeedNova 8K wireless technology, giving it an 8,000Hz wireless polling rate without needing a separate polling booster. It supports wired USB, 2.4GHz RF, and Bluetooth connectivity. The wireless latency is only 0.2ms, which is ideal for competitive gaming.
Asus has equipped the mouse with ROG Optical Micro Switches rated for up to 100 million clicks. The mouse can also be configured through Gear Link directly in a web browser without downloading software.
The retail package includes the ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 mouse, SpeedNova 8K wireless receiver, receiver extender, ROG Paracord cable, grip tape, spare mouse feet, ROG stickers, cleaning cloth, and documentation.
Asus says the mouse will be available through the end of 2026 as part of a limited production run. It has a starting price of $260 and is only available in the US for now.
