Applications are open for the Pride of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Awards 2026, with 15 individuals set to be honored for their outstanding achievements, contributions, and services across different fields.
The awards ceremony will be held on 15 September 2026 at COMSATS University Abbottabad during the Metrix Pakistan Youth Summit 9th Edition, organized by Metrix Pakistan and powered by the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
The awards aim to recognize people who are making a meaningful contribution to the province through their work, leadership, innovation, service and excellence.
Nominations are open in categories including Sports Excellence, Entrepreneurship, Education, Technology and Innovation, Social Work, Youth Leadership, Women Empowerment, Arts, Culture and Media, Healthcare, Public Service, Volunteerism and other areas of outstanding contribution.
This year, 15 deserving individuals will be selected for the awards. The organizers have stressed that the selection process will be 100 percent merit-based, with recognition reserved for genuine achievement rather than influence or favoritism.
Each selected recipient will receive a Pride of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa shield and an official certificate in recognition of their achievement and contribution.
Individuals, organizations, and communities have been encouraged to nominate deserving people who have shown exceptional performance, leadership, innovation, public service, or social impact.
Nominations can be submitted through the official registration portal by 5 September 2026. After the deadline, the team will review the nominations and shortlisted candidates will be contacted through their registered email addresses with further details.
The Pride of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa initiative has already organized four flagship award ceremonies in recent years to recognize people who have made notable contributions in different fields.
The upcoming ceremony will bring together achievers, young leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, social workers, public servants and representatives from various sectors under one platform.
The awards will be presented during the Metrix Pakistan Youth Summit 9th Edition, linking provincial recognition with a major youth platform focused on leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship and positive social impact.
With the message “100% Merit. 100% Recognition.”, the organizers say the awards are designed to ensure deserving individuals receive recognition for the work they have genuinely accomplished.
