Apple has confirmed that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will begin on June 8.

The company has also started inviting members of the press to the event, according to 9to5Mac . This year’s WWDC tagline is “Coming bright up.”

WWDC will run from June 8 to June 12. Apple said the conference will give developers a first look at new Apple tools, technologies, and platform features.

Apple is expected to preview its next major software updates at WWDC, including iOS 27, iPadOS 27, watchOS 27, macOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27.

The company has also said WWDC will include AI advancements and new software and developer tools.

A new AI-powered Siri is also expected to be one of the main announcements. Apple has not confirmed the feature details yet, but reports suggest the company is preparing a major Siri upgrade for iOS 27.

Although WWDC remains available online, Apple will also welcome more than 1,000 developers, designers, and students to Apple Park on June 8.

Selected attendees will be able to watch the keynote and Platforms State of the Union in person, meet Apple experts, take part in labs, and explore the campus.

The June 8 presentation could be one of the final WWDC keynotes hosted by Tim Cook as Apple CEO.

The event is expected to be closely watched because Apple is under pressure to show stronger AI progress. The company is likely to use WWDC to outline how its next software cycle will improve Siri, Apple Intelligence, and developer tools across its platforms.
