Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday inaugurated 11 public welfare and healthcare projects in Balochistan, including the province’s first air ambulance service and a modern trauma center in Quetta.

The projects launched by the Balochistan government aim to improve emergency care and expand healthcare access across the province.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman said healthcare was a fundamental right and reiterated the party’s commitment to providing free and quality medical treatment.

Bilawal welcomed the launch of the Benazir Ambulance Service and the Peoples Air Ambulance Service, saying Balochistan required air evacuation facilities for critically ill patients in remote areas.

He also praised the newly launched 150-bed Quetta Trauma Centre and appreciated the efforts of healthcare workers serving across the province. Bilawal said more healthcare projects would be inaugurated during his next visit to Quetta after Eid.
