AMD Radeon graphics cards are facing another major round of price increases in China, with new Q3 2026 sales guidance reportedly raising prices across the RX 9000 lineup by between 5% and 20%. The RX 9070 XT has been hit hardest, with its new channel guidance reaching roughly $1,037. The reported changes come as rising GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory costs continue to put pressure on graphics card manufacturers. AMD had already reportedly informed board partners that GPU-and-memory bundles would become more expensive, while Radeon prices had begun climbing across Chinese retailers in previous weeks.

According to the reported Q3 sales guidance, the RX 9070 XT rises from 5,599 yuan to 6,999 yuan, an increase of around 20%.

The RX 9070 sees a smaller increase than the GRE model, moving to the same price level as the RX 9070 XT’s previous Chinese guidance. The RX 9070 GRE remains cheaper and comes with 12GB of VRAM, compared with 16GB on the RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT.

The RX 9060 XT 16GB also receives a significant increase, moving much closer to the RX 9070 GRE in price. The 8GB version rises by nearly 13%, while the older RX 7650 GRE is affected by a smaller 5.6% adjustment.

The price pressure is being linked to the continuing memory shortage, which has pushed up the cost of VRAM and other graphics card components. Similar increases have also affected competing graphics cards.

However, the reported figures are China-specific Q3 sales guidance rather than a confirmed new global AMD MSRP. AMD has not announced equivalent worldwide pricing changes for the Radeon RX 9000 series.

There is also no confirmed timetable for similar increases in the US or Europe. Reports suggest higher Chinese channel pricing could eventually affect other markets, but AMD has not publicly confirmed when or whether that will happen.
